Executive Director : Mohammad Tarek Hasan is the Executive Director and Co-Founder of Dristi Protibondhi Unnayan Parishad (DPUP Bangladesh), having been involved with the organization since its establishment in February 2002. As a founding leader, he has contributed to the development and implementation of DPUP’s programs and initiatives aimed at promoting the rights, inclusion, dignity, and empowerment of persons with disabilities in Bangladesh. He has experience working with Disabled Persons’ Organizations (DPOs) and has been involved in disability rights, organizational development, advocacy, community participation, and inclusive development initiatives. In his role as Executive Director, he provides organizational and programmatic leadership, supports collaboration with development partners and stakeholders, and contributes to strengthening DPUP’s capacity to create meaningful opportunities for persons with disabilities and vulnerable communities. His long-term involvement and experience have supported DPUP’s growth as a national DPO working toward an inclusive and equitable Bangladesh.

General Secretary : Madhob Chandra Sarkar is the General Secretary and Co-Founder of Dristi Protibondhi Unnayan Parishad (DPUP Bangladesh). He has been closely involved with DPUP since its establishment in February 2002 and has contributed to the organization’s development, leadership, and commitment to promoting the rights, dignity, inclusion, and empowerment of persons with disabilities in Bangladesh. As a founding member and General Secretary, he has supported DPUP’s organizational activities, community engagement, advocacy, and inclusive development initiatives. He also has professional experience as an instructor at a school for persons who are blind, where he contributed to the education, learning, and development of students with visual disabilities. His long-standing experience in disability-focused education and organizational leadership has strengthened DPUP’s efforts to create greater educational, social, and development opportunities for persons with disabilities.

Chairman : Mohammad Ruhul Quddus is the Chairman and Co-Founder of Dristi Protibondhi Unnayan Parishad (DPUP Bangladesh). He has played a significant leadership role in the establishment and development of DPUP since its founding in February 2002, contributing to the organization’s vision of promoting the rights, dignity, equality, inclusion, and empowerment of persons with disabilities in Bangladesh. As a founding leader, he has provided strategic guidance and leadership to DPUP’s organizational development, disability rights advocacy, community participation, and inclusive development initiatives. His commitment and leadership have contributed to DPUP’s continued efforts to create greater opportunities and meaningful participation for persons with disabilities and vulnerable communities. He studied at the University of Dhaka and brings his experience, knowledge, and dedication to the organization’s long-term mission of building an inclusive and equitable society.
