: Madhob Chandra Sarkar is the General Secretary and Co-Founder of Dristi Protibondhi Unnayan Parishad (DPUP Bangladesh). He has been closely involved with DPUP since its establishment in February 2002 and has contributed to the organization’s development, leadership, and commitment to promoting the rights, dignity, inclusion, and empowerment of persons with disabilities in Bangladesh. As a founding member and General Secretary, he has supported DPUP’s organizational activities, community engagement, advocacy, and inclusive development initiatives. He also has professional experience as an instructor at a school for persons who are blind, where he contributed to the education, learning, and development of students with visual disabilities. His long-standing experience in disability-focused education and organizational leadership has strengthened DPUP’s efforts to create greater educational, social, and development opportunities for persons with disabilities.
