: Mohammad Tarek Hasan is the Executive Director and Co-Founder of Dristi Protibondhi Unnayan Parishad (DPUP Bangladesh), having been involved with the organization since its establishment in February 2002. As a founding leader, he has contributed to the development and implementation of DPUP’s programs and initiatives aimed at promoting the rights, inclusion, dignity, and empowerment of persons with disabilities in Bangladesh. He has experience working with Disabled Persons’ Organizations (DPOs) and has been involved in disability rights, organizational development, advocacy, community participation, and inclusive development initiatives. In his role as Executive Director, he provides organizational and programmatic leadership, supports collaboration with development partners and stakeholders, and contributes to strengthening DPUP’s capacity to create meaningful opportunities for persons with disabilities and vulnerable communities. His long-term involvement and experience have supported DPUP’s growth as a national DPO working toward an inclusive and equitable Bangladesh.
