Projects Programs &#038; Projects Advancing disability rights, inclusion, empowerment and community development through practical, rights-based and inclusive programs across Bangladesh. Our Programs and Projects Dristi Protibondhi Unnayan Parishad (DPUP) implements community-focused programs and projects designed to improve the lives, opportunities and participation of persons with disabilities, children, women, youth, families and vulnerable communities. Our work combines disability rights advocacy, inclusive education, rehabilitation, skills development, livelihoods, health, community development, environmental action and disaster resilience. DPUP works with persons with disabilities and their representative organizations as rights holders and active participants in development. Programs are developed around community needs, local priorities and opportunities for meaningful participation. What We Do Key Program Areas 01 Advocacy &#038; Disability Rights Promoting awareness, participation, equality and protection of the rights of persons with disabilities through advocacy, community engagement and awareness activities. 02 Inclusive Education Supporting access to inclusive, equitable and quality education for children and young people with disabilities while promoting accessible learning environments. 03 Skills Development Providing skills development, vocational learning and capacity-building opportunities that can support greater independence and participation. 04 Employment &#038; Income Generation Promoting employment, entrepreneurship, small businesses and income-generating opportunities for persons with disabilities and vulnerable households. 05 Agriculture &#038; Livelihood Development Supporting community-based agriculture, livelihood activities, self-employment and resilient income opportunities for vulnerable communities. 06 Health &#038; Rehabilitation Supporting community health awareness, rehabilitation services and access to appropriate assistive devices and support services. 07 Women &#038; Youth Empowerment Creating opportunities for women and young people to strengthen leadership, skills, participation, livelihoods and community engagement. 08 Environmental Conservation Promoting environmental awareness, community action and sustainable practices that contribute to safer and healthier communities. 09 Disaster Risk Reduction Supporting inclusive disaster preparedness, risk reduction, climate adaptation and community resilience with attention to persons with disabilities.
